Counseling can help navigate life’s difficult times and assist individuals in reaching their greatest potential.  It is my passion to assist clients in achieving wellness in all areas of life.  Having worked in the mental health field for over 10 years, I am experienced in working with clients ages 13 and older.  I specialize in anxiety, depression, and stress management, and I have worked with individuals experiencing a wide range of other mental health conditions.

 

I take cognitive-behavioral approach to therapy that empowers my clients to grow as individuals, make positive changes in their daily lives, eliminate distorted thought patterns, and develop healthy coping mechanisms.  It is my belief that being transparent and authentic in therapy sessions allows my clients to develop trust and creates a positive client/therapist relationship that is necessary for progress.

 

I also provide EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy for clients.
EMDR is an innovative clinical technique that was originally designed to alleviate the distress
associated with traumatic memories or PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) by utilizing the
natural healing ability of your body.
In addition to the treatment of PTSD, EMDR has been shown to treat a variety of other mental
health concerns such as:

-Pain Relief, Phantom Limb Pain
