Margaret Snyder, PLMHP

I earned my Masters of Science degree for Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.  I have gained experience through professional training at an acute residential center in Greeley, CO, at the University of Nebraska at Kearney Counseling Center, and through private practice.  I use a Client Centered approach to build a solid, trusting foundation between counselor and client.  My theoretical viewpoints are, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).  I have worked with clients who have depression, anxiety, trauma, disassociation, depersonalization, bi-polar, schizophrenia, adjustment, eating, substance use, and/or marital issues.  I enjoy working with both individuals and couples.

I believe, that no matter how similar your issue/concern is to someone else’s, you are unique with individualized needs.  Counseling is meant to empower clients with the proper tools to conquer current issues and prepare for future ones.  My desire is to walk alongside you in your journey while offering you the support you need to move forward with hope and confidence.
