Lisa Follmer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner
(LMHP). Lisa has over 20 years of experience working with individuals and families across the lifespan.
Lisa provides individual and family therapy, navigating issues such as marital and interpersonal conflict,
grief and loss, attachment and trauma, depression, anxiety, and transitional periods. She has a passion
for building upon each client’s strengths to facilitate change and growth. Lisa has been trained in
Developmental and Generational Trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy,
PCIT, and has worked in the hospice field for over 10 years, helping families navigate end of life issues
and the impact of medical trauma. Lisa has also been a state certified provider, navigating co-parenting
issues and supporting parents in understanding the needs of children experiencing divorce or
separation. Lisa is a member of the Critical Incident Stress Management Team in Nebraska and
understands the specific needs of first responders and law enforcement officers. Lisa strives to support
the needs of her clients as individuals with unique needs and stories. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys
reading and attending any sporting event. As a true foodie, Lisa also enjoys checking out new ‘diner
dives’.
